I've tried the strangebedfellows site but it's down until the end of the month. Are there any mirrors? Or could someone upload the installer to a file sharing site?

There isn't much left of March, waiting would be my suggestion if there is no other website that has the file.

I have the system shock portable on a rapidshare account but I must first make sure it is okay to post it.

I posted torrents of several old LG games in a highly visible topic, and I've still got my account. Prior to that the exact same downloads had been hosted by Raph for at least two or three years, and before him, Daxim.
Just never post downloads to games still commercially available.

I think it's ok to post it, the owner of the strangebedfellows site has a thread on this forum advertising it, and it hasn't been deleted.

Here's the rapidshare of SSP v.6. Have fun.

60 MB? Seems a little small? Does it include all logs and stuff?
Kolya on 23/3/2007 at 15:01
Yes, it contains everything for an English SS1 game. I ripped out the French and German logs/movies. These are up separately (SSP_German_v0.6b.exe, SSP_French_v0.6b.exe) and can be easily added if you want them. The archive unpacks to 101MB btw.

Right. Anyway, it's not working for me. I tried changing the VESA settings but that didn't do anything. I get this error message regarding "COM2" or whatever. What am I supposed to do with this? None of the options work.
edit: oh apparently just ignoring it worked.
Yeah seems to work, resolution is a bit f*cked up and the controls are kinda weird (it's all clicking) so it's a bit too chaotic for my taste.
