On my head.
I can't be arsed to remember anything... when I played MW... man o' man I couldn't remeber any blokes name...
so I chopped off EVERYONES head.

However the mask of clavicus vile is held by the necromancer Sjorkvild the Raven(think it's spelled something like it) - his tower is situated on the outskirts of Dagon Fel... It's an old Dwemer tower....

Skullcrusher (big shiny hammer) is in the hidden Forge underneath some Deadric ruins east of Sadrith Mora. The door is blocked and you can't get in but there is another entrance. The hammer has a constant 15 feather and some other buff that I can't remember. Also in there is another pair of dwemer boots of flying, just in case you wanted to keep the ones you got from that dwarf guy and were unhappy to give them away. Take plenty of levitation in there with you, its one of those vertical rooms.
Elidon's Ward (big shiny shield) is in a tomb underneath those deadric ruins west of the Urshikalu camp. Again there's a different entrance to get to the tomb. This is the most valuable item I've seen in the game (200K it's worth). Doesn't do much - restore 100 health spell.
Dwivith Fyr has at least two unique items. In the closet near his room is the Cuirass of the Saviour's Hide (150K), dead easy to get. Much harder is something that's in his room, which I didn't get - it's the Deadric Crescent or something, in a box right next to him.
I found Magebane in a named cavern somewhere with would-be necromancers in it, can't remember where.
Chrysamere is in a cavern on an island just NE of Dwivith Fyr's place. Again there's some budding necromancers in there, one of whom attacks you with it. I can't remember what it does, its worth 95K or so.
There's a couple others that are right on the main quest path, like the gauntlets of er, Some Bloke, that are in the room where you fight the guy who gives you corpurs.
BTW The dwarf guy has a book listing all the unique items, it lists all the above plus a dozen or so more, it's right next to him, but him and the girl get aggro if you take it (so much for anything in that dungeon being up for grabs, bah) so sneak.
Another spoiler mentioned that a really HARD guy on a hill east of Suran (asking you for a warriors death by duel) has a unique item.

Is the Lord's Mail the same thing as the Cuirass of the Gods (or Of the Lords, or some such)? With a constant effect of Resist Magic 60%? I have that, but for the life of me I can't remember where I picked it up.

hey where is this Dwivith Fyr place? i'v been around but havent seen that place, is it in side the ghost gate? im high level wise but not far story wise
Xanatos on 29/5/2002 at 20:37
hey i got a unique spear, does 5-60 i think? 65? haha sorry all my info on items isnt exact but i post most of this in A+ class and i dont have my game to refer too, anyways, the spear does good damage + magic stuff, not constant effect sadly but to get it u have to go to
st. Olms in Vivec , go to the underworks and do the daedra quest
me again haha, heres 2 more items, Bittercup (drink it and it boosts your best stat to 100 and worst to 10, if you have a stat at 100 already its worthless... but it is worth 100,000
other item is Vamperic Ring, really nice, saves me all the time, it drains life and stamina, usualy drains enought to get me way past full life and it kills demora lords in one use.. well u find it at the same place as the bitter cup,
its on the far left corner of the long skinny island north if the mainland, theres skeletons n stuff in there, and be careful for the mage skeleton because he has the ring and he will use it
Draining doesn't transfer to YOU does it? I thought it was only a loss of life. Isn't Absorb a transfer effect? Damage != Drain right? Assuming Drain actually DOES transfer (I have the Sword of White Woe, a 4-26 2-26 2-26 Long Sword that DRAINS 1-10 life for 30 seconds, and I never see a life transfer =P)
BTW the Sword is in the Guard Tower in Balmora near Caiuss Cosade's House. Telekinesis is your best friend unless you can kill the guard (stole the sword at lvl 2...)
And what's with the named weapons like Foeburner and stuff? It's got no magic properties; is it worth keeping? Doesn't seem to enchant well...maybe I'm wrong...

Try Robe of St. Roris, easily the best item in the game. It heals 15 hp and 15 fatigue every second, constant effect. to find it, go south from Seyda Neen, until u get to the shipwreck. on the island that the ship is on, take a bridge to a teeny island, with a deadric shrine on it. in there, somewhere, cant remember details of shrine, sry.
