I'm playing Arx Fatalis on PC / Win 2000 XP.
I'm on this point in the game, that I should save Janie. But when I get to the snake-pillar, there are no priests. Is this a bug, or have I forgotten something?
Another question: Are there Arx Fatalis-Cheats for PC? GOD-Mode would be very helpful... :joke:

Make sure you have the 1.17 patch. Then start walking around the pillar, a cutscene will trigger. As for codes, yes there are. Goto rpg.com and look them up.

Yes, I have this patch. I walkt around the pillar many times, changed between the levels per teleporter and per "normal walking"... the priests doesn't appear.
rpg.com??? It's the Website from "Reprographic Products Group, Inc.", selling printer and stuff... Sure about this link?

Thanks a lot! I'll try this as far as I can continue the game. The f#*%§'n priests ought to appear! :grr:
If theres anybody out there, who can help me: Please!!! I hope, I must not start the game new...
By the way: It's good to copy the "saves"-folder in Arx-Directory from time to time. When I played (ääh... tryed to play) the game last time, the game crushed and the saves from the last two weeks get lost.

Doubt that this is something you haven't tried yet, anyway:
Have you hid in the shadows, behind the pillar? 'behind' as viewed from the floor level entrances into the room.
It's been a long time since I've played Arx but seem to remember the trigger area for the appearence of the priests isn't very large.
