Seaching for the posts around the release of Dromed but the earliest posts to be found (regardless of criteria) are from Nov1999. What happend to the older stuff and where (if!) can I find it all?

The old BeSeen.com forums are WAY swallowed by the mists of time, as are the GameForums forums.
Why don't you just email Trimfect about it, if you're still trying to get the complete story of DromEd? He's really the only one who can tell the whole tale.
There was a petition started (not sure when, I first heard of it in Feb 99) which stood at 1000 sigs by the end of March 1999. At some point shortly thereafter, Trimfect got involved with betatesting DromEd, and shortly after that we had the thing -- and ferociously went to work making FMs.
I don't know what the binding duration of the NDA he had to sign was / is... He may not be able to (or feel inclined to) offer much information, but it's worth asking him.
I'm not sure it will help with the "We want a T3 DromEd" thing, if that's what you're thinking... It's all such a different situation. The Dark Engine wasn't being licensed from someone else, to begin with.

I've emailed Trimfect and Digi. Trimfect hasn't replied for 2 weeks. Digi gave me alot of info and I found 2 threads from years ago with similar aims that Trimfect posted replies in.
It is for the "we want an editor" thing. I know its different but still, I'm one fussy fecker and there are few games I like - and when I do I REALLY like them. I've been looking forwards to T3 for years now and I always thought there would be an editor. I have FM ideas. Things that have never been tried .
But I'm also very interested in it all aside from that. I'm surprised there isn't a history already.
