Anyone? Please?
I have to retrieve something from them for the mission i'm on. What I first thought were the ruins turned out to be a Daedra shrine! eek!
I've been all over the place, but cannot find an entrance =( I've been searching all morning.
Thanks in advance =)
(BTW, if there's more than one entrance, the one closest to Ald R'uhn (sp?) would be great)

Directions suck I agree.
Go south from Balmora and cross the two stone bridges you (I assume... I went this way myself but there are so many roads you can take) passed by to get to the city. Forget the port I never saw one.
Anyway once you crossed the bridge you should be on your way to Moonmoth Fort. Once you see the post signs near the fort you can follow directions (find the other post, climb the hill etc.) the rest is easy but the first explanations really suck.

Dont read this if you want to try find it yourself.
If you got the mission I think you have, where you need to find the gilded box or something? Just over the bridge there is a crank that needs to be turned, hurry into the door that opens. Or is this some other mission? The description I got was pretty obvious, and easy to locate, but I might be wrong about your mission.
The bridge is not out of Balmore (leaving Balmore yes), but a second bridge up the hill, large metallic bridge.

Well anyway, I just started the mission where you need to find this gilded cube box thingie, pretty nice dwemer dungeon :) And you might learn something about the lost dwarven race too. Nifty.
