When Werewolves Attack.. - by Azuras

I Liked the Werewolf quests, short but sweet, I loved the fastness of playing as a werewolf especially. But yeah, simply just use the sleep option until around 9PM when a cinematic will pop up and orders will be given, but dont get seen changing into a werwolf or everyone will try to kill you, I found out only due to rage when I couldn't get Shaman-guy to talk to me. Changed into a werewolf in the middle of the village and proceeded on a rampage that ended w/ the death of Vivec himself by a fierce, angry, fury of fur :) And thanks for the help with the dialog, ill go try it out ASAP!

Ok, it worked!I'm up to the Hunt and Korst tells me I need to wait. So I did..for..a week... do I need to sleep out in the wild away from Skaal Village for it to start the Hunt? If so thats probably why its not working, even though I have "Waited" for days out in the village open..

The hunt? You mean the bear hunt (aka: Ristaag) that Korst sends you on? This can be a bit tricky, but you basically need to look in-between Lake Fjalding and the Harstrad River (look on the map). Rolf Long-Tooth and two other Nords are near the top of the ridge that separates the two. The tricky part is that you need to talk to him between 9pm and 6am.
The way I usually do it is to do a real save at the Skaal village, then wait until 9pm and try to find him. That way you can't screw yourself up too badly.
Edit: If that's not what you mean, precisely when and what does Korst say?

No, actually, the Hunt with the Daedra God dude. Korst goes to Hunter's Plans in the dialogue and then stops telling me stuff. Says I need to wait a few days and i have yet to sleep in the wild, but I have slept for about a week inside the house I was given.

 This has got to be some cruel joke :p I slept outside and still no werewolves attack me! I've tried journal index updates and still no werewolves. Is Korst supposed to update your journal or something when he talks about Hunter's Plan??
Edit: While looking throughmy journal I think I found the problem. When I first started playing I found an interesting mod called Balmora Fortress. One of the chests inside of it held three keys for everything in the game that could use one. There in lies the problem, I picked up two keys for the WildHunt part of the game and now it thinks I am already doing the final mission in the glacier.. I've tried using the "setjournalindex" command already but it wont change it back to where I can initiate the werewolf attack. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Crap..... :wot:
...
... umm.. yeah, that could do it alright.
Umm... this command might work (save 1st):
StartScript wildhuntStartScript
Then sleep. If it does work, you can do this to get the Journal entry Korst would've given:
Journal BM_WildHunt 15
If that 'StartScript' cmd doesn't work though, load your savegame and then do the following command, and make sure to save before you use it, and don't typo any part of it:
Player->PositionCell -11.328 -134.609 -107.016 180 "Solstheim, Mortrag Glacier: Entry"
HTH

I tried both the script and the journal but it still didnt work. I have one of my saves with the character inside the glacier but hircine wont talk to him to initiate the quest..

Hmm... if you have one in the glacier (and have the key(s) you got from the mod), have you tried just getting on with it and going thru it?
(Btw, let this be a lesson to one and all... mods can be dangerous if you don't know precisely what you're doing...)

Actually I had just dropped them on the shore a while ago cause the keys were beginning to annoy me as the covered about 1/2 of my inventory.. I could go through the maze, but it left Carius behind, so I used the Journal command until I got the index to where he would talk to me. I completed the MQ and feel relieved! Went and became cheiftan of Thirsk, got my room decorated with all my armor weapons and clothing I didnt need but wanted to keep. Now im just cruising Morrowind again, completed the Fighter's Guild, sorta got the House Redoran done (the game wont recognize me as Archmaster even though Sarethi does..) Now im working for the Imperials for a while before I head to Mournhold.. And in the meantime I'm sorta working on a little mod, even though I really suck at using the construction set, hehe..

*grin* Glad it worked out all the same ;)
