When Werewolves Attack.. - by Azuras

I got to the part in the Bloodmoon main quest where Werewolves attack. I get to the point where I have healed myself from the disease, and in the three day period. Unfortunately that Shaman guy won't tell me about the next parts of the quest involving the House of the former leader and the Honorable Skall part (forgive me if I haven't got the names right, I'm not good with names...) Anyone know what I can do about this?

Lessee... if memory serves, the way it's supposed to go is like this:
1) You fight off the werewolves and get infected.
2) You talk to the shaman, and click on one of his topics that's vaguely like "have been infected"
3) You back off, and cast cure common disease
4) You talk to the shaman again and click on the same topic, and he's happy with you again.
If you've followed all four of those steps, then we'll need more information. For starters, what's the 1st thing he says to you when you hit the spacebar and talk to him?
(Of course, if you pre-emptively healed yourself, I dunno off the top of my head)
Edit: Btw, unless you want to catch lycanthropy (ie: be a werewolf) there's no need to wait three days.

I redid the main quest from a save way before I had even done the EEC quests. I talked to him right after the gaurds told me hes was back and I need to speak to him. I didnt see any topic about being infected, though he says it when you go near him (voice not text) before you're healed. I heal myself and he still doesnt have any topic of value(I've asked him about everything you can)...
EDIT: I just checked my last save, it was before I got myself cured. The Shaman still wont let me talk to him about the infection. Also, something strange, the "battle" music continues to play even after I've slain all the werwolves and it wont stop. Stranagely I got it to stop only after I killed all the gaurds, though I didnt save for obvious reasons..

You seem to have a lot of weird problems with quests, Azuras :) This is just a stab in the dark, but if the battle music is still playing, is there a chance there's still a wolfy alive somewhere that you missed? They sometimes get stuck on/behind objects, after all...it might explain why you can't get any further. Could be worth scouting round the village just in case.....

Actually upon further investigation, one of the citizens in Bear armor apparently had a beef with me, probably accidentaly hit him w/ my sword during the battle, and after taunting him and killing him there was still no change in convo with the Shaman but the music stopped :( Suprisingly the Werewolf quests go on fine, which confuses me, more. I think I will look into his NPC in the editor and see what I can do. In case it doesnt work, does anyone know the journal index so I can maybe force the game to continue?
update: I figured out the jounrla entries in the editor and tried them out. But upon trying them only the population of Skaal Village will react, Korst DOESN'T change dialogues AT ALL.

Just as a tip, if you're ever looking for something that you can't find, go to the console and type twf This will turn on wireframe mode, effectively letting you see through all objects.
I've never really played a werewolf... I didn't even know there were quests. Erm. Anyone wanna gimme a hint of where to start the werewolf quests? :cheeky:

Hrm... I looked it up in the editor. The topic is "been infected"; after the attack, he's supposed to say:
Quote:
I've only just arrived, and to this horror. It is good you were here to protect these people.
Clicking on "protect these people" should give the "been infected" topic, and the rest should carry from there.
If, however, that didn't work then (assuming you're cured) you can do these two commands to fix it:
addTopic "been infected"
Journal BM_SkaalAttack 50
Then just ask him about "been infected" and the rest should work. If not, please let us know what he says in greeting?
Luck. :p

Just don't cure yourself after the garou attack... the rest should follow ;)

'kay. After I got the disease, I ran straight to Gnaar Mok and slaughtered everybody. Then I decided getting all my CE items unequipped wasn't worth become a Werewolf, especially because I was stronger while not in that form. But this time around... Thanks ^.^

No problem ;) (oh, btw, as far as I can tell the quests are obtained from Hircine when you sleep; I've never played as a werewolf)
