That type of scenerio is one of the reasons I prefer to stay somewhat aloof on forums. Who knows how messed up someone is and if they'll harass you in real life. Even if a person could defend themselves from such people - why would anyone want to go through the ordeal in the first place. Not what I want to spend my time on. I've got better things to do then deal with avoidable wackos. :erg:
I'm sure no one on these forums is that unbalanced though. Well, hopefully not...
When it comes to the public internet, the less anyone knows about you in real life the better IMO. The friendlys you are posting to are not necessarily the only ones reading about you.

I'm an unbalanced wacko - don't be hatin'.

I used to think you'd be the kind of person we'd read about doing something like this agwpt! But I think you've mellowed out a bit ;)
I was almost ready to go to England to kick noid's ass when he insulted me once, but that's pretty damn far. So I just gave him a good tongue lashing, and we made out, I mean, we made up.

I'm more worried about the normal people in my city, or state, than any Netfreak, no matter how unbalanced.

Weird how it made news now, when it supposedly happened in 2005. Anyway, speaking of long-distance haters, they were talking about Lisa Nowak on the radio today, too. It's chilling that some people can continuously hold on to anger like that, although I personally don't think flukes like them warrant the kind of paranoia that would keep you from making friends. I mean, I keep plenty of distance from online acquaintances, too, but only because I'm too lazy to work on social lubrication. :p

Looks like someone's trash talk brought them a world of hurt! Good reason not to antagonize people online, never know who you're talking to.

"never know who you're talking to"??
And just what is that supposed to mean? Are you calling me a psycho? THATS IT WHERE DO YOU LIVE

I just read the local news, seems the new trend is to execute people and then burn their corpses, so far 14 in my state. The pyromania bug's crawling up some more arseholes, it seems.
Oh well...

Admit it, how many of you people have been waiting for someone to do this to me?
