I've played the demo and I think ARX 's a good game.
I liked the strange little stone usable on my sword...... but don't know what these stone do.
Somebody told me the stones enchant items..... how?
And the enchantment lasts for ever or not?

I don't know the answer to you last questions but about the release in Italy, it should be the same as for other countries (other than Germany).
And the international release is planned for early September.

And the enchantment lasts for ever or not? There are certain ingredients available for enchanting a weapon, like crushed bones, dragon eggs, garlic-powder or Amirka stones (the one you mentioned). Each gives the weapon another special power. Amirka stones for example make the weapon undestructable. All you have to do is use the ingredient on the weapon and then cast "enchant object" on it.
But you can only put a single enchantment on a weapon.

I never could make this....

BTW: any idea what's wrong with the JoWood-board? I can't connect since last night... :(

Did you know you can also backstab NPC's (if you managed to hit them from the back while they don't hear or see you, this gives double damage bonus), you can poison your weapons (and therfore arrows) , the level of poisoning depends on your object knowlegde, the NPC's who are in lookfor mode or in guard mode will be attracted toward the direction where you throw an object. The Casters try to negate your spells, they heal themself, and if you take carefull attention, you can learn some spells seeing what rune they cast.
Ho, and I almost forgot: when your level of stealth is high enough, you can peer into inventories and steal items from NPCs.

Well.
You've played a lot!
Thanks for answers....... have you read my last question?
P.S.
What do you think of Morrowind?

And Morrowind is great. Here a list of pros and cons:
Pros:
+ beautiful (very)
+ vast (very!)
+ contains secrets (many)
+ excellent character evolution system
+ great universe
Cons:
- the Journal is not user-friendly at all
- many bugs and crashes to desktop (despite the patch)
- some monsters (cliff racers) are way too annoying (you can't walk more than 20 seconds without being attacked)
All in all, I recommend anyone to buy it (and later, to but Arx too!)

Seems you cannot enchant already enchanted or special weapons....
