I did a mixture of meschief/assault/stealth. I usually explored every enterance into a given area, snuck in every vent shaft.
As far as augs went, I used speed most often probably. I rarely killed everyone, unless I knew I would be running around that area alot, plus I loved rooftop jumping. I got the cloak as well, and used it a few times just to breeze through an area.
As weapons go, I used the pistol most in the early levels (like I had a choice), replaced by the stealth pistol when I got it. I put laser on the stealth pistol and a few other mods I dont remember, I could take down a commando in 3 or 4 shots to the head, usually before they shot me so I liked it. I used sniper rifle alot, silenced ftw. Autoshotgun was my main assault weapon, if I wanted to massacre. On realistic you can get pwned so bad sometimes the sword backfires and just gets you killed, but I did a good bit of slaughter with it.
As far as knockouts, I did some levels where I did that almost exclusivly and some where I hardly bothered.
I maxed out rifles by the last couple maps, maxed computers, along with a random assortment of other skills.
I got a huge kick out of leaping huge distances off rooftops, I only wish it didnt hurt your legs so much with max runspeed aug, as if I didnt have max healthkits all the time anyways.
I just finished my first runthrough of the game last week, I had a blast. I kind of feel bad, I knew for a long time I needed to play it but it was always there, no matter what there was one game out there still worth playing. Oh well, now I can just replay it over and over.
