Electric Voodoo-
That happens to me quite often too. I currently save my game after EVERY major item pick-up or long distance travelled <sigh>. Now I guess we know just how much the ol' Xbox can handle, huh?
MaxSkills on 16/8/2002 at 03:19
there is too a button for quick weapon switching...a combo really.
Just hold the x button and then press the R trigger until you've selected the desired weapon. this can get annoying though cause it seems to wanna switch to the crappy ones first:(
just thought id let everyone know.

Personally i prefer Magic to Steel.
Its more fun to fly around above the groundlings and spit firey death at them HAHAHAHA! -jk
Although having 100 pts of fire and frost damage hit you all at once is a pain.
I try to use stuff that wont kill me like Absorb Health.
My favorite weapon is an enchanted Exquisite ring that does Absorb Health 100 pts. for 2 sec. in 3 feet on target.
anyways Red- you asked if Absorb Health cant be reflected. It can but you just absorb your own health which doesn't really do any thing 'cept show some pinkishpurplish sprites round your dome. (Absorb Health is in my humble opinion the best spell in the game, although Chameleon is nice too.)
Electric VooDoo- You might allready know this and although there isn't a way to switch directly to a specific weapon without the menu screen (for X-Box) if you hold down the weapon button (default is blue X i think) and press L or R you will cycle through your currently carried weapons. This is quite useful if you cary only a few weapons and quite horrid if you are carrying the Fury sword. You can also do this with spells. This can help you so that you don't have to keep opening your weapons menu and crashing your game. Also try to keep your GameSave under 200 blocks cause i have noticed that it crashes most often at 200+ blocks. 250+ and you are lucky to play for 15 min.
If people would like i could post about tips for keeping X-Box from crashing. It used to happen to me every 15 min but now i might only crash 1 or 2 times a week. I can't make it go away, i can just help you control it, think of it like kemotherepy for your X-Box.
Changing weapons without the menu is also part of an elaborate trick that can totaly manipulate your characters stats with spells that stack and fortify, but i won't go into that in the open forum. I dont want to post the info here cause the bug can really ruin the game for new players, but if you don't know about how to permently raise your Int. to 3500 and have 3500 magika you can private message me and ill probably reply. :sly:

Using those weapons is very frustrating (high charge cost)... The Daedric Crescent marks as my #1 pet peeve: Running out of charges on Rats and Cliff Racers when searching for some dungeon. 6-10 hits (can't recall) and its empty.
I so agree! The daedric crescent looks such a sweet weapon but the designers ruined it with the enchantment - RUINED! - disintergrate armour is pointless all it'll do is reduce the value of the armour you'll salvage afterwards; and paralyze for 10 seconds is such a waste of charge...

Yeah and it's made easier when you have your constant effect levitate item. ;)

The problem with absorb health is the fact that if your not already wounded all that stolen health is lost. :(

Interesting i wasn't sure whether your enemy absorbs your health rather you absorbing your own... In regards to Absorb health i'd have to agree with you.
Thanks for your help. :)

I got a Lvl 52 Khajiit Character with 26 Hp. :sly:
And i am currently wearing the following fashions:
Starlite Robe: Exquisite Robe Constant Effect Night Eye 40 points on self (I never realized how dark some of those dungeons get untill i took the robe off. I guess there is a point to those torches after all.)
Hand of God: Daedric Gauntlet Constant Bound Dagger on Self and Constant Restore 1-2 Hp on self (i prefer daggers and small quick weapons.)
Wraith Guard: (Some times ill switch it out with the Grasp of God: Daedric Gauntlet that casts Telekinesis 100 ft for 12 seconds. useful for opening trap doors--before i just used to take the damage/sideeffect of the trap but now with only 26 Hp I don't like to take chances.)
Thread of the Master Thief: Exquisite Shirt Constant effect Chame. 12%
Legs of the Master Thief: Exquisite Pants Constant Chame 12%
Wrap of the Master Thief: Exquisite Belt Constant Chame 8%
Barrier of the Master Thief: Daedric Tower Shield Constant Chame 45%
Jem of the Master Thief: Exquisite Ring Constant Effect Chame 24% (total 101%)
Ordinators Bane: Exquisite Ring Absorb Health 100 pts fot 2 sec in 3 feet on target 1000 charge
Wings of the Seraphim: Exquisite Amulet Constant Effect Levitate 8 pts on self
For weapons i just use whatever looks cool: Daedric Daggers, D Darts, Glass Throwing Knives. (Although Ebony Staves aren't a bad choice cause they got 90 enchant slots. i think that that is the most out of all the weapons but someone correct me if i am wrong)
In addition to all that you can also wear Shoes/Boots(Khajiits cant wear shoes or full helms), Hat/Helm, Palundruns, Greaves, Cheast plate, and a Skirt all at the same time!
:eww: But then ppl will make strange comments about your wardrobe.....
I think that being an invisible flying life stealing death Khajiit like myself would rather just not wear a skirt! or the armor for that matter Clothes look MUCH better.:sly:

Your right that "gold spiky armour" is good for a level 4 character.
The armour is in fact called "Indoril" armour and is the sacred armour worn by vivec ordinators.
I don't want to seem patronising at this point but i feel i need to warn you that if you talk to an ordinator while wearing this armour (specifically the helm and cuirass) then not only will the ordinator in question attack you but (nearly) all other ordinators on sight.
There does suppose to be something you can do about this if it happens to you (making ammends at the temple) but i've heard rumours it's bugged so it's best not to get in the situation in the first place.
I hope i've managed to warn you in time because having a legion of ordinators running after you is not a good thing for a level 4 character...
Where did you (as such a young character) get the armour anyway?
Did you steal it from the ordinators barracks or did you find the dead ordinator or something different entirely?
HypowerDog on 16/8/2002 at 23:08
Hey Return0 please post how you leveled your intell and magika all the way to 3500 just cover it with a spoiler or something because some who have been through the game already would like to know.:D

Where can I buy the absorb health spell? I'd like to enchant a weapon with it, but I don't have it.
Also, where can I get grand soulgems? I desperately need one to make a constant effect enchantment, and the only one I have (stolen from the mages guild in Balmora) I stupidly blew on a Winged Twilight. I don't mind if I have to steal it or kill somebody to get it, but the less out-of-the-way the better.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hmmm... I can't remember for sure but you may be able to purchase the spell at wolverine hall imperial shrine.

While your in sadrith mora have a look in the big wizard tower (tel naga) in the first big room there will be a guy in dwemer armour (cephlapod helm) and a guy who wears a robe. Have a look in the little alcoves and you'll find a little table with a empty grand soul gem on it.
You can also find TWO empty grand soul gems at Tel Fyr just above the bottom entrance - they'll be in a kind of store type room with lots of various potions, gems, etc. Sorry i can't remember exacts for you as i only have some notes i wrote down when i found them.
Hope this helps you out. :D
