Is this just my problem? It says "no service provider" a thief-thecircle.com...:grr:

All TTLG websites seem to be suffering this problem at the moment.
DNS related I think.

Seems like it; all of the hosted sites seem to fail at the name resolution step.
EDIT: Bioshock is working. I'm guessing the others will soon follow.

Looks like it was down for a bit. It happens. Maybe so many folks scrambling for thief 4 info at once :laff:

No, no, why the server REALLY went down is that everybody was trying to feverishly to catch the 8th and final installment of that fabulous serial novel that's been released over the past month or so. But the crash must have wiped that portion out, because it hasn't been put up yet; some other, unimportant news seems to have gotten in the way.
But I kid. On a more serious note, a deep thanks to the three people (and the mods) who actually read it and commented on it!;)
But I kid again. Great to know that Thief 4 has officially been announced, especially in the wake of 3D Realms getting canned. Hope springs eternal.

It was crushing, I had been stranded away from the internet all day with no knowledge of Thief 4 and then when I finally got home and discovered the news I found that I could not share in the moment with my comrades here. Well, at least things are up and running now! :thumb:

Sorry 'bout that, it was a total frenzy. A real one, unlike the journalist calling our "font" discussion a frenzy.

The DNS provider for several of the sites went down. the BioShock site and ttlg.mobi (where you can read the forums) is hosted by a different DNS provider and did not go down.
I will be looking in to shifting the DNS for the rest of the sites over to the same one as the BioShock and mobile sites as it is more reliable.
