I do have to wonder if someone can actually be so stupid. Is it possible? I would say there's nothing wrong with having those thoughts, or possibly even fantasizing about it. The problem is that it's extremely difficult not to act on those impulses.
It would certainly make me uncomfortable, but you can you fault a person for thoughts that come to them unbidden?

Paedophilia is sexual attraction to pre-pubertal children.
14 is not pre-pubertal age, that would be below 13 I'd say. Sexuologists still debate on this.
I don't think this would be paedophilia. He had to consider that talking dirty to
a teenage girl who is below legal age for having sex is a bad idea though, with possible bad consequences.
Especially on the internet.
