I know it's probably close, but I do not see it near where I found him and I'm just making larger and larger circles...

big naked guy that says he got jacked by some witch? if its that one then look for the fork that has 4 directions, 2 one way 2 another, but 2 of them say (backroad) shes on the backroad

That quest is so bugged...

First time I did this, I took the caster's side... but later on in the game, I found another guy claiming to have been cursed by some witch(fairly close to where this quest is)... after I restarted, I took the guy's side and it turns out his reward is better anyway... I didn't care about the axe though, daedric weapons are extremely easy to find.
