Hmm, other useless interactions I didn't understand
were like the guy in the bar in Hong Kong who mistakes you
for paul but when you correct him refuses to speak to you again.
I usually ended up killing him out of frustration, is
he of any real use?
I'm pretty sure there's a lot more of them in HK it's full
of half started story lines that never come to any fruition.
like the woman on the boat who ran diving expeditions down
to the Canal Road Cave in, but doesnt give you any advice
on how to get there.

The woman on tour boat is actually a zyme smuggler, who also provides weapon mods, credits and a repair bot.

Everybody ranted about how DX should be close to life by all means - hasn't it ever happened to you that somebody mistook you and you never spoke to him again? I'd like to see DX2 being full of life illusion-deepening things like that. Yepa.

Does it matter if paul is alive or dead when you talk to him?
I talked to him repeatedly whilst talking to others in the bar
and he refused to say anything other than "Sorry I was mistaken"
and I have to say that in real life if I met someone who
mistook me for someone I knew, I would expect Light to
be made of how small at world it is, rather than have that
person ignore and refuse to talk to me.
As for the girl I never got anything her, in any of my encounters that
I couldn't have also gotten by killing her and raiding her ship.

Omigod, what I can see here...!
Stunning a companion girl with a riot prod!
Killing a guy, because he doesn't want to talk to you!
Killing a woman and raiding her ship!
And you call yourself "the saviors of the world"?
That's not DEUS EX, that's SATAN EX!
Uh, I have probably forgot that during the last play I've decided to let Tiffany Savage die and then showed the body to her father... :ebil:

hmm, I think I have a fairly balanced view,
First time I played I killed or prodded who
I had too.
The second time I just killed everyone, good
bad or indifferent.
The third time I haven't killed or prodded anyone
and I've just reached HK. In fact I think the only
people to die have been:
Anna (The victim of an unfortunate Industrial Accident, Someone left an explosive container behind a door on the plane and anna opened the door without looking
:tsktsk: )
Paul (didn't die in the apartment so must have died because I gave myself up to gunther rather than fighting)
A couple of MJ12 Troops (Seems that button actually opens the door to the kariken cage in the secret MJ12 base in NY  )

What's more fun is luring Ling into the appropriate room with the "They're all gangsters" girl and whacking her with the dragons tooth and then taking out the witness, muahaha!

As for the girl I never got anything her, in any of my encounters that
I couldn't have also gotten by killing her and raiding her ship. Yeah, but the guy was gathering information about Versalife for Paul (hence the map etc. you can get from him). He initially thought you were Paul so was probably about to say something he shouldn't have.
Now when you try to speak to him he is suspicious of who you are, he doesn't want to get busted for spying on Versalife, so he doesn't want to talk to you.
Or at least that's my take on the situation....
