Thank you for correcting my very first post on these forums.
I meant the group that created SS, SS2, UW, UW2, Terra Nova - same group or different.
It's a shame having purchased said games some of the developers make it difficult to back them up.
I dont like having to swap CDs around as I play different games - but then I am getting lazy.

If you make a mistake you get corrected like everyone else. Getting bitchy about it is not a good start. Looking Glass Studios (LGS) made most of these games, SS2 was done by Irrational Games. Through the Looking Glass (TTLG) is the name of these forums.
I'm not sure why you think you can't make backups for yourself of these old games CDs. Apart from SS2 none of these even have a copy protection afaik.

Yes SS2 has copy protection on it - so I can't make my own back up of the game - unlike those others you mentioned - although having lost those UW disks long ago - I did purchase them again on a compilation.
My point being - similar to the music industry - purchashing something legitimately should provide you more rights - ability to back up being one.
Both SS games are fantastic and I would fully support - financially - developers providing further games of this standard.

Welcome Azadur, it's good to see some new blood here.
Ignore the bitter and cynical older members. Some of them act like this to everyone, some dont.
I did expect more from Kolya, he's normally quite nice. I guess he's having a bad day.
