"accidently chatted"?
Rogue Keeper on 8/2/2007 at 14:23
Well he didn't state in the icq chat request he's a porn store clerk on a night shift and then he had this interesting nick "DEATH" so I was naturally curious.

I take it you didn't root for the shark in JAWS then?
Of course I did, but I count "violence" only as aggression between humans. When it's a shark having a snack, that's just
jaws laws of nature :cheeky:

Rogue Keeper on 8/2/2007 at 14:39

BR: You probably shouldn't try to pick up guys in porn stores by talking about Naked Lunch.

It's good, solid advice like that makes commchat an invaluable resource.

Since they've just started showing Saw 3 in cinemas here, I checked out some webpages describing the level of gore in the film. Already the stills made me queasy. Nevertheless, films like this, Hostel or Wolf Creek seem to attract large crowds.
I'm wondering: Do you like gory films? If so, what is it about them that appeals to you? Is there a type of gore that you can't stomach?
Not ulrta realistic; Ulrta obsene. There is nothing realistic about the gore in movies like those; it is exagerrated for the phsycopaths in our society. People like to see it. A lot think that it is kewl and that they are kewl by watching it.

The only time I've ever been really scared during a film was at the end of "Don't Look Back"
I thought you were a self-professed Lynch fanfreak? Surely you found scenes of Lost Highway chilling, or Fire Walk With Me as genuinely scary? If not, you're kind of missing the point of his dream logic terror.
