Is Weeds watchable? I've got it but have so far given it a swerve since RBJ said how disappointingly shite it was.

I have no recommendations as I am completely following those that come up at ttlg. So far it's won me The Wire, Deadwood, The Shield, Weeds, Dexter, and now Breaking Bad.
If you're into historical fiction, politics, intrigue and graphic sex, you may want to give
Rome a chance. It's got some very iffy pacing in season 2, but other than that it's definitely riveting TV fare. Also, I can heartily recommend
Generation Kill by the guys who did
The Wire.

I agree with all of this.
In fact, when I watched the Hurt Locker I was somewhat underwhelmed most likely because of Generation Kill.

Penguins don't come from next door, they come from the Antarctic.

Why did you say Burma?

Really, you've taken it too far. You guys are making me feel bad about liking Monty Python.

I panicked.
(Because that was the best part)
