I just downloaded a drow race, i didnt like dark elves they dont seem to have the proper abilities. Anyway the drow elf has 25% MR, 15 pts Night Eyes and they'er sensitive to bright lights and they lose 5 pts on WILL and AGI.
Anyway i called her Black Asp, since most of you guys know me. I was making a fortune on Alchemy and paying for trainers 3x5 attributes jump per lvls. I was working on serveral places to clear out and though about going back in forth to check on crates for Grand Soul Gem(s).
I just cleared out the hide out near Seyda Neen (slave pens) and OMG found a grand soul gem in one of those crate and you know what she was lvl 11.
I dont take anything out of those crates unless there are Grand Soul Gems, after i taken it all then i put a gold coin in it so i know i have taken this crate.
Now i need to wait til i high enough to buy those Summoning Golden Saint Scrolls, dont worry i dont think they can harm me while im low lvl. If you can find a stonewall, for example up on the Caldrea's Castle, there a stone wall nearby. Get as close as possible and cast that Saint then Soul Trap and use range attack, but you only have 60 seconds. And yes they have reflect so soul traps/spells can bounce off, so becareful.
Happy Hunting,
BlackAsp

Thanks for the tip. You kind of posted this twice though (meh, I've done it before too.) Just go ahead and delete one of 'em before someone gets mad ;)

I'm just wondering if that isn't as obvious as it sounds? lol

Sorry about double posts, there was a error and couldnt send in my first post. Anyway i tried to delete it wont let me do it, i was hoping striker would remove it.
The idea about the stone walls is when you wanna trap a summoning golden saint w/o getting too much of a fight, get close as possible and cast the creature on the other side. Then cast soultrap and kill it b4 it fly away.

I don't know anything about soultraping. I've got two grand soul gems, two sammon golden saint scrolls and a soultraping deadric short blade. So, can I just kill the gild saint with the short blade, traping it's soul and then...and then what do I do?
What good is this anyway? Does enable me to sammon the golden saint multiple times?

So anyway, casting Soul Trap on a creature allows you to trap it's soul in one of your soul gems upon its death. This soul gem can then be used to either enchant an item with magical properties (either from an Enchanter NPC or you can do it yourself) or it can be used to recharge an existing enchanted item.
The relevance of Golden Saints WRT Enchanting is that Golden Saint souls allow Constant Effect enchantments - much better than normal Cast Upon Use enchantments. :)

Well i came across a naughty salmon (golden saint) near Sanctus Shrine, after i slained dremora lord that wild salmon was chasing me and i didnt know if i ready for this but what the hell i cast soultrap on that fish and go in for the kill. Anyway that fish kept casting dispel magic! damn salmon, again i cast soultrap.... i kept casting and it kept casting that damn dispel magic til i ran out of manas.
Too bad i didnt trap that naughty salmon but it was tasty fish. :sly:
PS. i think my Black Asp (char) was lvl 16 when i fought these fishes.
