I was reading the 'SS2 and Portal' thread just now and it got me thinking: What would you guys do if you had a Portal Gun? Rob banks? Get back at an ex? Donate it to science? Give it to the government?
I would use it as an ultimate ride. place a portal on the ground near a cliff, another portal at the bottom of the cliff, and jump! Wheeee!
Course, I'd have to be extra careful since there's no save/load function in real life.
Although lately I have been feeling frustrated that there isn't one. Am I playing too many games?

edit: Shit ton of fun includes at least half an hour of making a portal and waving at myself through it.

You know, sometimes when I screw something up, I try to click edit/undo, it never works though...
If I had a portal gun, I'd study it, figure out how it's made, and build a replica, then sell it to the government so I still have the original.

I'd use it to get to places quickly is all I think. And maybe to play some really ebil pranks. :ebil:
Scratch that. I'd portal upto a rooftop in town on weekend nights and portal-prank any drunk trouble makers.

I'd touch the operational end of the device and submerge the device in liquid, even partially.

I'd keep it, but probably accidentally kill myself as I am fairly certain that I would not survive a 50ft drop without strange metal crap on my legs.

Come to think of it... put a portal in your house, put a portal in a computer store, grab PC, jump through, replace portal so you can't be followed. Perfect crime.
