A slightly warped friend of mine is in the process of doing this. He's cleared Seyda Neen, Balmora and Caldera so far, working on Ald'Ruhn now.
I don't think it'd be very exciting once you reach a certain level, personally...seems like a pretty boring and unoriginal thing to do.
