Seeing as how I don't feel like digging out the documentation so I can play through Underworld again, I was just randomly throwing rune combinations together using knowledge of what each runes actual "meaning" was. I came up with Sanct Ort as one of the few spells available, but I'll be damned if I can figure out what it does. Magic protection? It's not a spell that causes on effect on yourself, it's targeted (the cursor turns blue). I couldn't target anything in the environment with it, so I tried it on a piece of equipment to no effect.
I looked up spell lists online and it's not in it. Faqs I've read do not list it as one of the few undocumented spells. I think it's 5th circle.

I am crazy enough to remember that Ort means Magic and Sanct means protection. So yes, ... protection from magic. But it sounds like it's maybe something they didn't finish or impliment properly?

It's meant to be used on armour. I'm not sure how much of an effect that it had though.

Which game are you doing this in? UW1 or UW2?
I've tried to cast "Sanct Ort" in both UW1 and UW2 - but all it says is "Not a spell". The 'Enchantment' spell in UW2 would seem to be the closest to an eqipment protection spell, and it can be cast on weapons as well as armour. However, the rune combination for that is Vas Ort Ylem or Great Magic Matter.
If you do ALT+F7 within the game that will tell you which version number you're running. It may be something that was disabled by a patch.

I will try it again when I get I my PC moved into my new place as I'm currently using my girlfriend's laptop which doesn't have any UW games installed on it. I might be getting this mixed up with another spell though...
