See: WAREAGLE
And me! I ditched the show in part due to its ridiculously slack pace.

I started from the first episode and watched the whole first season. So much for my impatience and need for instant gratification, New Horizon. I just cant see what all the fuss is about... its almost as bad as watching "Friends". But hey, I tried.

It might be different if it was a *REGULAR* TV show. Its so sporadic when they do show it. How can anyone keep up with it? I don't watch it either. I tried.

I didn't want to try and watch it from the beginning again, no thanks.

It was only sporadic because of the writers strike. I've watched it all so far, in order. It's been dull at points but overall I've liked it.

Oh, I see. You've gone on a Lost marathon and watched all 24 Season 1 episodes since you posted
this...

What the hell is this show doing to people? I've watched maybe half of an episode and it was boring as crap.
In any case, my point seems to have flown right over your head. My point being, that people don't have the patience to watch a weekly series 'on a weekly basis' anymore. Obviously you must have watched it all in one go on DVD over the last few days. So, which is it...have you only watched half an episode...or did you just watch the entire first season on DVD after your first post?

Where the devil did you pull this pearl of wisdom from
This just in: people stopped watching Lost because it sucked

All that "instant gratification or nothing" nonsense can be applied to stuff like... Andrei Rublev or The Seventh Seal or whatever. Lost's case is inexcusable.

I have to wonder, to all the Lost haters out there - what TV _do_ you like? Lost isn't perfect and has many faults, but to me it's the only interesting thing that network TV has had to offer in years. So, if not Lost then what? Maybe I'm missing some handful of shows that are just so incredible and mind-blowing and I haven't realized it. If so, please share.
In reality, I'm guessing the haters out there just hate everything under the sun, as usual.

It might be one of the cases where some people hate something just because of its popularity.
