The forums themselves are a set of pre-written php scripts with a personalised template and additions. The main sites etc were allegedly hand-written in a program called "EditPad" and ASP coded by hand by Saam.
Some new things such as the PhotoAlbum, the TTLGnome and some other things were html coded in varying WYSIWIG editors by Gingerbread Man with handcoded ASP by myself :)
