What overturning Roe v. Wade could mean for birth control access, maternal care - by Dia

But guys, can't you see that you are evil? Because you think about things instead of just act according to when a religious leader says life begins you are in league with the devil. See, these religious leaders are the only qualified folks to determine when a human begins despite no education in science or medicine because a 2000 year old book which does not mention fetuses is interpreted to say things which it does not actually say. Only religious leaders can determine if you will burn in hell for a wrong guess for eternity. Once that sperm breaks the ovum wall it is a human because the bible says um... well, just have faith that what religious leaders say is correct because they know stuff which hasn't actually been said in ancient times when they didn't know jack shit about much of anything anyway. They KNOW. Have FAITH that they do despite no evidence they are doing anything but stating things not in evidence.
That's what faith is all about. You must believe in everything someone who knows nothing says. You don't want to be evil do you?

Something tells me this isn't about far-right/left villainy bs, but about personal life regrets, probably subconscious, unrealized ones at that.
Wrong. This really is about the fact that the far-right is playing to the faux-Christians, you know, the 'Pro-Life' crowd who seem to actually believe that Eve was literally created from one of Adam's ribs and therefore all women are inferior to men. They believe that it's their moral right to control women's bodies under the guise of being so righteously Pro-Life, while simultaneously bombing abortion clinics and shooting doctors to death who've performed abortions. Because they believe that women are second class citizens and not intelligent or responsible enough to make their own decisions. Also, I personally think the thought of being in control of the decisions women can or can't make regarding their own bodies gives a lot of those far-right, Talibangelical GOP assholes a hard on. And those far-right Talibangelicals aren't satisfied with just banning safe abortions, but now they're creating bills that will ban all birth control for women (Louisiana and Missouri are two of those states with bills like that already in progress). I guess the good news is that Viagra will still be covered by their health insurance companies, so there's that.
This really
is all about 'far-right villainy', just check the stats on how many GOP politicians support a total abortion ban as opposed to Democrats who support that heinous ban. How do you figure that it has anything to do with '
personal life regrets, probably subconscious, unrealized ones at that'?? This whole abortion ban thing is, in the reality of the majority of women in this country, a continuation, no, an
escalation of the misogynists' war on women. Men with fragile male egos who feel threatened by the fact that the number of intelligent, strong-willed, self-sufficient, independent women in this country is growing. The ban on abortions is just the first step, btw, as I pointed out; next up is a ban on all birth control for women, and since we already have GOP politicians questioning 'the wisdom of giving women the right to vote' (true story, btw), you can guess what those sexist GOP politicians will be aiming at after they succeed in destroying women's rights to autonomy of their own bodies and women's rights to safe reproductive healthcare.
Armchair psychoanalysis aside, sometimes a pencil is just a pencil.

Threads like these make me wish I wasn't curious, but you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat...
...And satisfaction brought it back <-- Everyone forgets that.
I'm just glad I barely visit this forum's category, I think this is what you internet folk would call an "echo chamber", all I see is somebody ranting and going all conspiracy nut (just like its own enemies!) about something called, the far-right.
What the fuck is even that? What even is "far-left", anyway? You Americans, you are amusing.
And yes, I am entertained, thank you for not asking!

Bastard. Good on you for kicking his sorry ass to the curb Dia

By the way, I spotted a sycophant, that is disgusting.

It doesn't seem to belong in Draxil's worldview, but trans men and enby folks can also get pregnant, so technically
they/their would be the most correct pronouns. Apart from that I'm with you 100% Dia.
HAHAHAHA!
I was wondering why Dia changed to her/their, thought it went insane and was referring to more than two mothers, like what? It just needs to be one, right?
Nope, apparently the so-called "Pronoun Fascist" striked, you are much more useless in this conversation than I am! (By the way, I know you will, but please don't take the "Pronoun Fascist" too seriously, it was a good fitting joke)
I love how you think your people are so important they have to be included everywhere, else they might, you know, get very very sad or mad or both.

I think this is merely an idiot ranting, which is okay, but then it makes excuses as to why it can't go do the so-called "protests" like it supposedly did before (and rightfully so at that time, but now, it is gonna fight a slowly-dying made-up "enemy"), so making an "echo chamber" was a better solution. Abortion is serious business for both "parties", which are exactly the same but painted differently anyway.
It would be better off to complain about the Baby Formula Shortages, actually.

Hey man, *we* don't wander in and take a dump on the floor in *your* subforum

Funny how the right learns a few words from the left and completely misapplies them though. Good for a laugh just to see the ignorance of it.
Not so funny how he supports the utter POS Dia left with the misnomer of sycophant for someone championing her sticking up for herself though.

Oops. I'm a big enough man to admit when I'm wrong. I thought the bible didn't say anything about abortion but I was wrong.

Yahweh commanded the death of the first born of Egypt and drowned countless millions in the Flood, all with justifiable wrath, of course.
Thirith on 9/6/2022 at 07:18
Well, that's in line with the so-called 'pro-life' position in most places: they just care about protecting life until birth, and then? It's their problem.
Jason Moyer on 9/6/2022 at 23:42
Even if the Bible had a direct quote ascribed to Jesus himself that said abortion was evil and not to do it, it would be completely irrelevant to the legality of abortion.

Necrohowl, you asshole, that wasn't sycophantic, it was sympathetic. Some drunk jackass punches his wife so hard in the gut that she has a miscarriage, and I express support for her decision to make him her ex-husband. You call that sycophantic and disgusting? What's wrong with you, dick?
