Dear Sir Hamlet Scallyworth,
We, your most extraordinary and generous government, regret to inform you that certain acts of illegal piracy have been detected within the premesis of your cottage. We ask you to please apoligize to the music industry at once, before we are forced by God to courageously detain and place under arrest, the recipient of this telegraph. Sorry.
P.S.
Please enjoy a complimentary sample of 'Queens Best' organic herbal white tea, and a breakfast mint.

That was quite amusing actually. But then my most favourite of insults is indeed "dolt".
I really don't know what is going on in this country and why we put up with it but Labour are surely out next time around. The nanny state knows no bounds.

Meanwhile, here in the colonies, Obama is giving us all new puppies AND a free year of Napster. Nya nya na nya nya. :p

It's still up in the air a little which way Obama is going to roll on this (afaik). Joe Biden was the founder of the anti-piracy caucus in the Senate, but then Obama had guys like Lessig in his campaign, his tech adviser, who's a big 'digital freedom' guy. A google search tells me the biggest issue is who he selects to be Copyright Czar, which I gather he hasn't done yet.

Oh goodo, it must be time for part #28331 in our series "How to turn a world-famous democracy into Stasi-era East Germany in 36,000 easy steps".
This is just a socialist government doing what socialist governments have done best since time immemorial: attempting to micromanage people's lives and clamping down on personal freedoms.
Don't blame me, I didn't vote for them. Shame on anyone who did because, let's face it - you were warned.

I just jotted this down by hand so I'll have it to comfort me in the concentration camp.

Personally I think it's to stop them from communicating any faster with the outside world, so they won't realize that they are really in an on-going episode of Life on Mars.

They should make it £5 a month and let everyone download what they want. Legally.
