Having wrapped an intense but amazing 3 day shoot.
Then, I learned I have accidentally not dumped one of our memory cards before formatting it.
"happy" is such a fleeting emotion...

The day is looking good. I put a Laser printer out on the sidewalk for a free pickup if anybody wanted it. It vanished yesterday. About ten o'clock this morning I answered a knock on the door.
A gentleman was there with a $20.00 bill in his hand! "I want to pay you for the printer I picked up!"
I told him that free meant free! He insisted. He had hooked it up, checked it out and it was running perfectly. Again I told him to keep his money. But he kept insisting that I take the money. So, to maintain the peace I took it.
It looks like it's going to be ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

Girlfriend's half-yearly check-up (cancer op several years ago, lung mets in 2009) was clean. Somewhat too exhausted to be happy, but it's there somewhere, buried under the tiredness. :-)

Yeah, I must agree: The release of 1.19 was the one thing that made me happy today. I have a feeling it will keep me happy for a while, so you could all imagine me reposting this every day from now on:

With the new System Shock 2 patch, I was finally able to play through the whole demo, rather than have it crash before loading the Med Sci level like the old demo does. Turns out, playing that made me want the game even more, as if I didn't want it enough already. Getting to play even a taste of that game made me happy.
