After staring at a computer screen all day, thinking about fennel and strawberries in a salad made me happy today. I must remember to try that when I get a chance.

Indeed. Count me in.

There's nothing more bracing than the crisp fall air infused with the tang of burning heretics.

But, since fall is still a week or two away here, today, happiness was seeing all the ladies still in summer wear.

I've driven in the rain for half a day and nothing has gone right. For the millienth time I wonder why the hell I do this job. My wife calls and tells me somebody wants to talk to me.

Aubrey- Papaw!

My wife- She brought the phone to me and said your name, I know you are busy but I couldn't say no.
Me- That's quite alright. It made my day.
