What is this?
It's a geometry/math problem, where you have to find the size of the yellow area.

I'm usually rubbish at puzzles but I'll have a go. It might have something to do with a quarter of mommy circle having the same area as all of baby circle. They're both a quarter of pi, and then there'll be some kind of convoluted way to subtract 1 - pi / 4 a bunch of times.

Hey faetal, welcome to parenthood! Sounds cliche and trite I know, but your life will never be as it was. For me, what made me happy and incredibly sad in equal parts is my 2 eldest graduating from high school and primary school. I cant believe when I first started on these forums my eldest daughter was only like 2 years old. Now she is going to university next year. My son got the dux award (academic excellence), and was awarded a scholarship to a very well regarded upper school. That makes me happy. He is also going to be studying contemporary guitar! That makes me even happier :)
Awesome. It's amazing holding this squalling little pile pile of quivering sausage meat and wondering what she'll grow up to be.

That video of the orangutan laughing at the magic trick made me happy today. So there's your answer.

Today, it's the fact that it's my last shift at work before a five-day break. I'm planning on going away for the weekend but I don't know where yet - at the moment I'm considering either Sheffield or Southport.

Not Sheffield.

Not today, but on the 21st December I received a total knee replacement. I have been waiting for some time for the procedure, once the pain has gone it's going to be the best day I have had in a while :)

Best wishes for speedy pain relief. M-in-law had one about 6 months ago. First time she's been able to bend her knee in years. The other one's going to be done this year. Keep doing the exercises though - makes all the difference and the medical staff are really pleased with you and pat you on the head when you do. :)

Yeh I had a total hip replacement last year (due to genetic arthritis), after years of having to walk with a cane and enduring constant pain, the relief and difference it made to my life was amazing. (Although I admit having a boss walking cane made me feel a bit pimp)

Going back to the OP, I went to an indie game dev meetup today, met bunch of cool folk I could actually talk to about game design and the industry, and free pizza! I wish these happened more often :/
