Anytime I feel like I have some new understanding of the world, it makes me feel happy.
Yes! Even though it was "useless" for me (as in cosmology etc. isn't my profession), learning things just for fun is great :)
I'm happy I have not just one, but two cockerspaniels sleeping at my feet :) The other one is old, 14 years, and such a sweet sweet creature. Old dogs <3

My gf bought plane tickets to get to Northern Ireland (where my family live) for xmas. This has made me very happy.

Bugger off with all your happiness!
3 x Congratulations!

What made me happy yesterday was spending time with friends, playing a board game, chatting and generally having a good time. Almost always a worthwhile endeavour.
Also, nice going faetal.

I haven't played a board game in ages and now I really want to. The only down side to my new situation is that I don't yet know anyone to do social things with.

Congrats Dr faetal!
And congrats on getting married.
You'll meet people to play board games with and if not make sure you have some on hand for when I come to Lyon.
faetal on 6/7/2014 at 18:12
Shall do. Looking online I'm seeing that Lyon has a fairly decent live music scene, so I may try and form a band.

Lots of congratulations, faetal. I love reading about other people's good news - really cheers me up.

Congrats! Digi is in Lyon, but I don't know if you know him.
