I live in a city with only one ISP (they own the infrastructure and beat everyone else out with sharp sticks) so I get shit internet for a million pounds a month.

Two years ago today I took a big risk to take a week-long trip through the midwest with a woman I fell deeply in love with and had quite literally the best time of my life. Now we live 3000 miles away from each other but thinking about that experience still makes me joyful and thankful.
Also I bottled a new batch of homebrewed beer today.

I just biked half an hour in 90 degree with a heavy backpack to my local cafe craving their thai ice tea... just to realize I forgot my wallet :(
But then! The guys make me one anyway and tell me not to worry about it. I'm sipping on my thai tea now. And it just made my day :)

Surprisingly, my job made me happy today. Chef hooked up oysters on the 1/2 shell for me and everyone was in a good mood. Plus we were DEAD.
