Just thought I'd post this. I'm sure that averyone at one time has thouhgt (or heard someone elses thinking) that JC stands for Jesus Christ but it makes sense if you think about it. In the Helios ending (as far as im concerned the ONE and ONLY ending if you want to fufill the game the others seem kinda tacked on) he 'dies' (loses his own personailty) to 'forgive our sins' (fix pur horrible screwed world) and in doing so 'acends to heaven' (essiantly becomes a god)
Think about it

This is what I came up with: If it is Christ reference, then it's not very well hidden, considering Deus Ex reeks of subtlety (well to me, anyway). Also, didn't Christ teach not to kill? Maybe you get the fourth ending if you don't kill anyone?

You don't /have/ to kill...

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the JC has no particular meaning, they just picked something that could easily go with either gender becaise they'd originally intended to let you play as a female, too (small surprise it didn't pan out, imagine almost doubling the sound files just for that).

I also heard somewhere that JC stands for Just another Codename.

The year is 2029. The machines will convince us that they are concious, that they have their own agenda worthy of our respect. Theyll embody human qualities. Theyll claim to be human. And well believe them.
