I say the same thing about religion, and people call me a fundamentalist atheist :(
Religion at least has one smidgen of an excuse -- it is not falsifiable (or testable in any other way).
Astrology on the other hand makes specific assertions which
are testable, which
have been tested, and which
have failed to show any effect (repeatedly).

I find it curious that the major loves of my life were all born under that sign; each and every one.
I know, I know - coincidences.
Not necessarily; just because something has no physical effect doesn't mean that it can't have a psychological effect. There are plenty of people who define, predict and "understand" their own behaviour in the context of their sun sign ("I do this because I'm a Virgo..."), and it is possible that the sort of people who you are attracted to are (1) Pisces and (2) choose to act according to their sign.

I was born on Feb 19, which depending on who you ask, either makes me an Aquarius or a Pisces, with no real consensus as far as I can tell. If anybody asks I say Pisces, but the dates in your poll have me as Aquarius... :erm:

I am a Scorpio. I am also a Persian, and what most people don't know is in Iran we follow the zodiac calendar. 12 months in a year, the new-year day is the 21st of March (the first day of spring - Vernal equinox), the first 6 months have 31 days, the rest have 30 days, except for the 12th month which is 29 days on normals years and 30 days on leap years.

Interesting. I never put much stock into the zodiac, in fact there are quite a few characteristics the zodiac claims are pertinent to my sign that I don't seem to possess. As far as my former major loves being Pisces is concerned, I didn't realize until much later (when curiosity got the better of me and I checked it out) that they were indeed all born under the same sign.

I won't insinuate it either.
I'll flat out say that they're fucking retarded, why beat around the bush?
Well, that's your style; not mine. :p
Anyway, my point is that not all people who take this kind of stuff a little more seriously than most people are country bumpkins whose fathers are also their brothers. Some of them graduate from colleges with honors.

How many, I wonder, and with a degree in what? I don't think it's all that controversial to say it's likely that on average those who take Astrology seriously are less intelligent than those who don't.

Your point?
