I don't take astrology seriously now, but in the past I was superstitious about this stuff. I personally wouldn't insinuate that people who buy into this stuff are unintelligent. People don't just wake up one day and decide to make up a set of beliefs. They get imbued with their beliefs over time through reinforced stereotypes, and once set in place, these beliefs are very difficult to reverse, even for otherwise intelligent people. The problem is that people are not interested in understanding the reality of the situation on the other side of the issue, or any other issue for that matter, because they're too busy shaking their heads at each other.

I don't think there's anything wrong with following Astrology in a lighthearted "it's just for fun" kind of way, but I'd argue that anyone who makes decisions based on current celestial arrangement is, well, I wouldn't say "unintelligent," exactly. Gullible, maybe? A little fruity?

Astrology is about as scientific and believable as Bugs Bunny. Good for a quick laugh, but nothing to base your life around.
That said, I was born in the the sign of The Wandering Lost, in the year of The Tiny Pest-carrying Rodent. Much like famous people such as Gandhi, Hitler and that guy who plays the lame brother on 2-and-a-half men. Oh yes, great things are coming my way, it's foretold.

I say the same thing about religion, and people call me a fundamentalist atheist :(

Didn't I already mention in every other post I'm one of those pesky atheists?

I don't believe in astrology, but being a Leo born in the year of the Rat just seems to explain so damn much. I'm a catrat. How conflicted can you get? Anybody a catdog? Hell, at least that would get you an animated series.

I won't insinuate it either.
I'll flat out say that they're fucking retarded, why beat around the bush?

Capricorn/Tiger.
Never really believed in astrology, but it seems that the one sign Capricorns are most compatible with is Pisces, and I find it curious that the major loves of my life were all born under that sign; each and every one.
I know, I know - coincidences.
(Lots of them.)
