Well, your poll states the date for western astrology.
Which I believe is wrong personally.
Eastern or sidereal astrology is the original astrology. This was started in India some thousands of years ago based on the stars actual position in the sky.
Western astrology 'locked' the stars positions in the sky 200 years ago and still goes by the stars positions at that time. Since then the stars have moved about 30 degrees, basically one whole sign backwards.
So western astrology states that I am a Taurus when in fact by the position of the stars at the time of my birth I'd actually be an Aries.
Just another way Western society has taken relious and scientific beliefs of the east and convoluted them into something that doesn't make sense.

I like Chinese Astrology as well.
Dragon + Taurus = watch out! :ebil:

My Zodiac sign is a Scorpio. And I forced to acknowledge that my character is very similar with a Scorpio type described in a various astrology books :sly: .

And I'm interested in another thing: what would you do with the results of this poll? Do you want to analyse them and deduce the most probable Garrett's Zodiac sign?

Ah, so
that's why astrology is bullshit. Not because it has absolutely no basis in reality and has failed every rigourous attempt to verify it ever made (and as superstitions go, astrology is
incredibly easy to test), but because of us pesky Westerners mucking it all up. :tsktsk:

Of course it is. The descriptions are intentionally so vague and generic that they fit pretty much anybody (especially when you conveniently ignore all of the incorrect parts and focus only on the matches).

I didn't say it was real or worked before we mucked it up. I just stated that we indeed mucked it up.
Considering the entire basis of astrology is the influence of the stars based on what sign was in the sky at the time of your birth. Western astrology threw that whole concept out the door 200 years ago, hence the muck-up.
Another example of this same thing would be 'Power Yoga'. The entire basis of yoga is to relax and stretch, Power yoga is the opposite, it's about getting tense and wrenching on your muscles.
Of course it's vague, that's what makes it so easy to accept. It's like fortune cookies, they are fun 'cause they are always right and it's utterly amazing..

 I feel like people that revel in exposing how "bullshit" astrology is are the kind of people that would go to an 8-year-old's birthday party to rip the wig off the clown ... "you idiots, he's just a guy!" Haha ... the parents are going to want you to give the wig back and let the kids have their fun.
Anyway, providence has smiled on me. I was born on the autumnal equinox (Virgo) in the Year of the Dragon, auspicious both East and West.

I think I was born in the month of the common carp, that would be Cyprinus carpio in spacy Latin.
