Sure there is. The NPC "Corey Maggette" gave me the quest.
Ok, here's the explanation:
1. The Lamarodom thing was a joke.
2. I don't believe this whole "Eltonbrand" thing anyways. I think
its a joke. I certainly have no patience to try and do the quest myself, and I would need to see a screenie of the weapon in someone's inventory before I believe it to be anything more than a "Bow Upgrade" nonsensical joke.
3. If there is indeed an Eltonbrand, and that line about Carolina, then the developers are basketball fans. (

Quite frankley i like the Daedric Battle Axe. My XBOX glitched out when i conjured a bound axe. So i know have an axe that weighs nothing, does 40-80 chop and fortify axe skill 10 points. The spear of bitter mercy is also very cool.

I'd go with Daedric Crescent or Skullcrusher. If you don't count legendary items then I'd go with my constant effect bound battle axe.

I have always had a soft spot for the dagger that I picked up in the Seyda Neen Excise Office the day I first hit the island. No matter how worn it is from combat, it never costs more than one gold to have it repaired to perfect condition. :)
Actually my character prefers the goblin club. He can't use enchanted items and that club does crazy damage (50 or 60)... and it's a one-handed weapon so he can still use a shield!

It's not like that. Too bad...for that there might be a cure.
One of the blade trainers (I think it was the one in Ald'ruhn) told him that enchanted weapons were dishonorable- perhaps the trainer was speaking of poisoned or jinx (paralyzing) blades... Anyway, he's House Redoran, so there is no talking reason with him. He won't use enchantments of any kind, because-and mind you, this is what he says-they are evil: the cursed product of soul stealing by godless necromancers. No offence. :cheeky:

Heh. Gotcha. Cyrus used to be an honorable knight, but going on all those adventure's alone has driven him a bit crazy. He used to steal books and leave money in their place. He didn't used to provoke guards. He didn't used to plan assassination attempts on Kings or powerful guards. I think he's going like Umbra, except a little bit more crazy.
