Also, you could argue that "it looks okay" is a neutral response, not a positive one.

Good point Springheel.

More like optimistic with reservations. "It looks okay" is how I voted, and I did so because...well...yeah, I'm optimistic, but have reservations about certain things.
edit: Actually, nix that. I think I actually voted "it looks good". We'll say "okay" is neutral, though with a positive bent.

Unless the votes changed significantly in under two hours, this is patently false.
Pretty good is a qualified good, bad is just bad. You don't agree?

Considering that those options are centered around a neutral choice, pretty good in the context of the poll is stronger and less reserved than good.

If you wanted to pick nits down to the nittiest nit of all the nits, you could say that only 7 people hold an opinion, and everyone else is neutral.
...because "pretty good" isn't much better than "it looks really bad" if you want to spin the results of the poll just so.

This is almost certainly the case. Around here (where I'm from, not this board) "pretty good" can be better than good or less than good. Usually, how good "pretty good" is, is determined by the inflection of the speaker's voice or the context of their entire statement. In this case, the answers are clearly in order of most good to least good. However, the intent of the people that voted for that choice and whether they interpreted it that way is another matter entirely.
So I think if someone does one of these again soon, definitely cut down the number of choices and try to use more precise language.

I'd do the poll like this:
Quote:
Love it
Like it
Indifferent
Dislike it
Hate it
no anonymity, and ask participants to explain their reason.

I dislike it!
I don't like it because it's not a Thief game. Other reasons:
Garrett is not the same character,
the old factions are not part of the game
lack of swimmable water
lack of proper rope arrows
lack of free jumping
lack of the sword (come on, combat with the blackjack is just ridicolous!)
lack of an editor
restricted controls and movements
also I highly dislike a bunch of other things:
swoop (I hated it in Dishonored)
Xray visual
shroud
enemies indicators
visible hands and body awareness
3rd person takedowns (I hated it in DX HR)
loot glint
also, I don't like the Victorian scenery. I liked the mixture of architecture in the previous games.
At the moment I can't think of anything else.....
