Thanks john9818a, looking forward to your input.

I want to chime in here and say that, even if your WIP mission is "old school" or "looks like it was made in the 00's" etc., that's no reason to shelve it and start over now that you're getting a hold on more modern techniques. In fact, I would wager that many people here would welcome a "throwback" mission as much or more than one built in the more modern style, especially from someone like you who has a very distinctive style to begin with.

Thanks for your input Yandros. I'm still really on the fence. This is bigger than, but just as ugly as, Chain of Events and Mixed Messages. I can hear what you're saying, and I'm punching through, seeing if it can become something salvageable.
It's like the Let It Be recordings. So much unfinished, unpolished stuff, and abandoned. On to the last album before breaking up, Abbey Road, where they tried their hardest to get along and kick ass, because they sort of knew this was the last.
These are the Let It Be recordings, not Abbey Road. What I'm trying to do is Phil Spector the crap so it ends up not sickening. Like John Lennon said about thinking Phil at least managed to make something out of it that didn't make John sick to his stomach.

I loved Thieves Highway and it influenced me to build A Short Nights Work. I figured if you could do a rooftop mission than maybe I could as well. :)
I would also say that I like old style missions better than modern missions with custom resources and like many, rooftop missions are my favorite.
Just my preference so if you have something old school looking, I am sure I would enjoy playing it and others would as well.

Well, maybe I'm a bit late but here is my answer ...
I've played Thieves' Highway, The Power of Suggestion and Two Fathers.
For me, the worse of these 3 is Two Fathers (but it seems to be your first FM if I'm not mistaking ?)
Some reasons :
- It was looking so empty, even though there were good level design ideas
- The objectives were really easy to me
- I didn't really like the caves part, it was difficult to progress and mantle at some points and became frustrating
I was really hyped by the pitch, and I liked the story, but I was expecting something bigger. I felt like this was an unfinished FM, as if a part was missing. Last save was at 0:35:30 ...
About Thieves' Highway, even if that's not the subject here, I have to say it's one of my all time favourites, and the Power of Suggestion was very good as well !
Congratulations for your work, I'll play asap your other missions ! :)

Difficult caves and empty looking areas were actually criticisms that started at beta testing phase..... , so yeah, have to agree.....:p

I´m late to this aswell, but since I keep a list of all FMs I´ve played including the names of the authors and a rating, I can tell exactly what I liked and what not. So far from your FMs I´ve played flip a coin, power of suggestion, thieves highway, just take a look, two fathers and the time that has passed. I´ve enjoyed all of them except one: power of suggestion. I even dropped it when I came to the point of having to hit a button with an arrow from I don´t know how far away. This was annoying as hell and I was wondering why you would add such a difficulty to it. It´s nice to have difficulties in a mission, but not to the point where you have to try 50 times with sheer luck to hit a freaking button  also the town was quite messy imo. There was nothing you could orientate yourself with and if I remember correctly there wasn´t even a map included.
I gotta say though, your other fanmission are some of my favourites like thieves highway or the time that has passed. They were so good that I couldn´t find even one thing to complain about :cheeky:

Skacky's reviews say The Time That Has Passed is weak and The Power Of Suggestion is my "masterpiece". Pretty much the opposite.
The summary in the the stickied mission list calls the Power Of Suggestion "A brilliant and complex city mission by Uncadonego that has you exploring both roof tops and the street to find out why 'The Boss' had you kidnapped. Initially you'll need to ghost the mission, at least until you have found your blackjack and lockpicks, after which your free to explore this detailed map and find all the hidden areas of which there are many."
Samantha's opinion of TPOS is valid, as I suppose Skacky's opinion of The Time That Has Passed is also valid. Yet they are the opposite.
Maybe I should just make whatever the *^@k I make instead and just let people have their opinions rather that worrying about it. Because it's getting stifling, I can tell you. I haven't even touched my latest mission since the beta reviews. I think I should just say *^@k everybody.
