What is the best weapon you are using? I don't mean weapons you have created with the editor, but weapons you have found in the game.
I'm using the Umbra Sword, it's worth 110000 has really high stats and is enchanted with 120s soultrap. It's a two-handed weapon btw

I am currently using an ebony short sword I enchanted to do 40 points of electrical damage. I am just building my skill level with it though, it's charged to 400. When I get into trouble I pull out Last Rights an axe I got from an enchanter, because I have maxed my axe skill. I've sold a lot of stuff to the mud crab; I think the best was around 60,000.

My favourite just now is the Spear of Bitter Mercy; the damage is decent (15-60), the spell effect is intriguing (magica resistance + summon a storm atronach on use), and the range is lovely (water walking, I can spear a dreugh 10 feet under water)

My particular fighting style, which we can either call "Wussy" or "Incredibly Cautious" involves 2 weapons, so I can't list just one.
1) Glass Jinkblade, which paralyzes the target for 20 seconds.
2) Immediately switch to Staff of War (25 lightning damage, 25 frost damage, 25 fire damage).
3) Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
For whatever reason, when you have a high enough Sneak rating, if you never get out of your Crouch, you can fight one member of a group while his friend stands about 10 feet away, humming merrily to himself. It's a good way to avoid multiple targets.

My weapons of choice are the Daedric DaiKatana for melee and the Dwemer crossbow for ranged. Nothing spectacular, but on the highest difficulty they still get the job done post-haste. For some reason I just don't care for the charged enchanted items.

I'm mainly using mod weapons... cause I think they look better, they aren't necessarily stronger... Right now I use my pair of runic waraxes 15-40dmg(leiawen's duel wield mod), Richter's throwing axes 1-75dmg... but they weigh 1.0 each(castlevania mod), or my runic shortswords 8-15dmg(leiawen's duel wield mod).

Daedra short blade which i enchanted to do 10-14 shock damage and give me 8-10 restore health on strike. Backed by my mighty bonemold bow and my old jinksword.

I use my Dwemer Jinksword, and my Daedric Dagger wich I enchanted with 6-37 points of shock damage. I kinda wish it could hold a bit more enchantment... but oh well.

I use a my steel longbow until they get to melee, then i swap to glass jinksword (paralyze 20 seconds) then i go to the Sword of White Woe (i'm sure everyone knows this is a GREAT sword, maybe 7th most valuable in the game)

A daedric katana enchanted with a guaranteed 8 points each of fire, lightning and ice as well as soultrap. Things die. Fast.
