I feel like I do when there is a death in my family and it brings us all together from great distance. One thing someone always says is "it sure is good to see you again, I just hate it had to be under these circumstances". Mara is bringing us all together again. I think she would like that. Good to see you, mon. Good to see all of you.

Rest in peace, Mara.
My condolences to her family and those who knew her well. We acutely feel her absence and wish it were not so, because it hurts not having her here.
I will keep Mara, her family, and her friends in my prayers tonight.
God bless.

Thanks, Tocky. Even though I've drifted away from here for various reasons, this place was still a large part of my life, and I consider the people I met here, Mara included, as a special sort of family. So I feel the same way. It's a huge testament to Mara's influence that, as you said, even through her passing she's able to bring us all together again.

I am stunned and very sad. Mara was a force of nature. She texted me out of the blue a couple weeks ago. I could tell something was wrong, but she didn't want to go into her problems. She wanted to hear all about me. That's Mara. As GBM said, she loved us all.
It's hard to believe she's gone. The world is a darker place without her light. Peace to you, Mara.

I don't know what to say. Rest in peace, Mara.

I just saw the post. I'm too old for this - too many wonderful lights leaving the world.
God, stop taking the angels, we need them down here.
Rest in peace Mara. You are and will be missed.

So she is truly dead. :( I held out some hope it would turn out to be a mistake, but it was not to be... MsLedd was truly one of the founders of the community (did you know she was, in fact, member #001, before Saam and Digi?), and I remember her from the earliest times I visited TTLG, around 2002 or so. She was a presence, and she continued being one. Sixteen years, and it is logical we'd be losing some members, and yet it hurts no less. After Lady Rowena and Sir Taffsalot, it is the third death in the community in an uncomfortably brief time. I think many of us took it for granted they were here, and they would continue being here. And there you have it.
Condolences to the family, and let us remember her as she was. Rest in peace.
