I just noticed this. We've kept in touch all these years, although less frequently as of late. I still have that small flask of 'extra time' that she sent me somewhere...

I missed Mara after she stopped posting here years ago but I always hoped that she would be one of the ones who would come back eventually. There was always something missing here I felt after she left. So sad to learn of her passing.

The day you come from work, hop into the only forum you still have (some) time to participate, even if only as a regular player - and you read that another long-term member has passed away... :-(
My heartfelt condolences to her family, beloved ones and everybody knowing her.
I could drone on about how we all get older and that the hits will come closer and more often now (especially considering the age of the franchise) but the feeling of loss is always the same.
It would be terrible if it wasn't.

"I can barely find the words, I am absolutely devastated by this news, Mara was a true friend to me from the very beginning, way back in 2000. On hearing about this yesterday I looked back through my emails to find the last time we spoke, it was almost exactly one year ago today. I feel terrible that I didn't stay in touch more, time just went by so quickly and although I always found myself thinking about her regularly, I should have contacted her more often. Time flies :(
My condolences to her family. This is so hard to believe.
