Over the last few years I've slowly been making my way through The Office (American version). The animated Castlevania was very enjoyable as well.

I bet Rick Moranis recognized that the Ghostbusters reboots weren't really in the same spirit as the originals, but the Spaceballs reboot probably will be, and that's because it wasn't (couldn't be) the original Ghostbusters creators involved then, but it's the same Mel Brooks here that also probably made a direct appeal to him.

First post since Sept. 2018 heh heh . . . what the hell, why not? I replayed "Sabotage at Soulforge" recently and was feeling a bit nostalgic, and was kind of pleasantly surprised when I looked up the forums and saw they were still alive and kicking!

Hey Mr Nadon glad to see you are still kicking around.

Just finished Season 3 of White Lotus and this one was a bit of a mixed bag. It took me until about episode 5 to get invested, then I binged watched till the end. The twists and acting were all solid, and I was faaairly happy with the ending and the symbolism (aside from the Luke I'm your father plot twist).
This season got more episodes than the previous, and it probably shouldn't have lol. It just felt too dragged out and filler-y in parts, and would've benefitted from some cutting down. Before the season aired, I also read that it was supposed to focus more on spirituality (unlike Season 1 which was money, and Season 2 which was sex). Overall, I felt it was still mostly about sex, and I wish it actually focused more on spirituality.
All in all, some good, some bad, still solid watch, could've been streamlined better tho.

PigLick, hey, nice to see you again as well. I really should try to post on here more often, I just kind of got sidetracked with my own life I guess . . . though there are at least a few people from on here that I remain in touch with on Facebook and so on

I recently re-watched Magnetic Rose, the first film in 1995's anime anthology film Memories. If anybody has an interest in sci-fi horror, famous opera pieces, or damn good films in general, I'd like to extend a recommendation.
While I am a baby when it comes to spooky media, nothing has had filled me with such dread and awe within 40 minutes... except for Doctor Who's Midnight.

Dept. Q on Netflix is a solid detective show set in Scotland. It's got a talented but grumpy asshole as a main character who's kind of like Dr. House but then a police detective. I also like the supporting character Akram, a no-nonsense assistant detective from Syria. Also a lot of colorful Scottish vernacular and accents which I enjoy. I have 4 episodes left, I do have a theory of who the abductor is but curious to see if I'm correct.

Isn't Dr. House an interpretation of Sherlock Holmes?
