Little Joe is about a geneticist who creates a plant that just wants you to be happy and to take care of it. What could be wrong about that? Some small adjustments may have to be made but you won't notice really.

We've been watching season 1 of Steven Soderbergh's The Knick, which is about a NYC hospital in 1900. While, like a lot of Soderbergh's work, there's a certain coldness and a distance to how he tells his stories, which may put some people off, it's a fascinating story he's telling here, and the actors are largely very good, even great - in particular Andre Holland (who plays the first POC doctor at the Knick). What I like most perhaps is how Soderbergh never goes for the cosy, nostalgic feel that so much historical fiction on TV or in the movies love: it feels *current*, not *historical*.

Ok, I have a completely pointless opinion. Outdated.
A few months ago, I signed up for Disney+ so I could watch Mandalorian. I enjoyed it.
As an old, fat, middle-aged Star Wars fan, I figured there should be more there I hadn't seen yet. So I gave Clone Wars a go.
Well... I think enjoy is a strong word. Endure? As a completist nerd, but not nerdy enough to have bothered until I could watch it for free, I'm a little bit keen to get a few back stories, apparently Ahsoka was some big deal I was unaware of. On the other, some of the episodes are really quite... bad. Terrible writing, terrible acting, passable animation. But then I remind myself, hey, I'm a grumpy old miserable guy who generally hates everything, and this is a kids' show, and I'm only watching it for character development.
With that new, reframed stated of mind, it's almost not terrible. I'm on season 4 now. There is the occasional episode I actually like, but, I'm not enough of a hardcore fan to care, and it's decent enough to fall asleep to. I'll definitely watch it until the bitter end, no matter whether I like it or not.

I started watching S1 E1 of Lupin but English dubbed over the French is annoying. Has anyone watched enough episodes to know if it's worth continuing to watch in the English version?

How about French with English subtitles? I also watched it in French, with Dutch subtitles, instead of the dubbed English version.

Subtitles with the sound off might be better.

French with subs is the best way

@mxleader
Why would you *not* want the French audio? Perhaps I misunderstand you, but your posts seem to suggest that for you it's either the dubbed sound or no sound at all, which without elaboration seems a bit odd, to say the least.
