I too am curious whether it can play the early Thief games. I liked those better than the last. How much was it?
Also nice spoons Aja. A little sandpaper and they should be complete. I am wondering how long to wait to carve a monkey's paw on a cedar cane. Cedar is a very sappy wood and stays soft a fair amount of time so how long till it loses some sap but is too hard to carve well?

Everything I've read says that greener wood is easier to carve, like freshly cut. The wood I've been carving is partially dried already, and it's been pretty difficult overall. I'm waiting for a windstorm or a fresh pruning in my neighbourhood to hopefully get a few green logs. I'm not sure about cedar. It's super soft all already. If you let it sit, where would the sap go? Maybe it's better to just carve it now while it's pliable and deal with the sap.

I test installed Thief Gold on to the deck last night. It loaded and started the training, so I kept going on the joy stick “steering” following the foot prints until I had to duck and creep. Could not duck so could go no further. However I’m sure a smarter gamer than me could get it to run smoothly. I’m sure if I connected a keyboard and mouse as is possible, it would run well. The graphics are very good as is the movement just needs the controls mapping.
It also loaded System Shock 2 same result. Underworld Ascendant perfect as is 😜
Cheapest Deck £349.00
Expensive Deck £569.00

Update: I haven't bought a lot lately because I'm at risk right now of being homeless if I don't find some camper trailer or something to live in. Life has been chaos. I had been working on a machine built with all the best vintage parts but part of me is starting to see that project as a lost cause. Too much turmoil in my life at this point for things like that. Specs for the hell of it:
Tyan Tiger 100 dual Slot 1 motherboard w/ 2x PIIs
Diamond Monster Voodoo 2 GPU 12MB
Sound Blaster AWE32
and other blahdiblah
My next purchase just might have to be a camper trailer to live in if I'm to continue to exist on this Earth. Still have my dishwshing job at Mud Street Cafe fortunately and I love it because honestly, I LOVE TO SUFFER <3.
...I need to be away from my neighbors anyway they hate me and have had all they can take of me. They do love me tho.

Facebooks marketplace is one way to find a camper but you have to weed out the scammers (often the best deals and usually listed in larger citites) and those selling leaky or have had leaks campers and you may have to travel to get the best deal. In that case make sure it has a sway bar. Any older pop out and fold out bed area type are suspect because of bad seals and crumbling plastic. You can still get a decent camper from 4 to 5K but if you want lower you will have to inspect thoroughly. Hell, do that anyway, even in closets for old leaks.

I mostly just buy expensive groceries and gas, but I've been stocking up on Christmas ales too as they show up on the shelves. I went to the craft store the other day with my daughter to buy some supplies to make ornaments and just ended up buying a couple Charlie Brown puzzles.

Regarding a travel trailer, the affordable ones that some of my friends and family have owned are not built to live in full time. They're not energy efficient, and they're cheaply made so they don't hold up to daily use for long. You'll be constantly fixing things. And you need a place to park it with an electrical hookup and a septic. I can't imagine it would be cheaper than an apartment.

Our vacation analysis was that an RV wasn't even cheaper than renting a car and staying in hotels along the way. :p
