Well, for me it was something like this: I got to level 7 and just when I was going for Tyball I realized I haven't found the map of the lava pit yet ! WHERE IS THAT THING ?
Hmm... I'll be searching for a walkthrough.
(Third time I play the game BTW. Or fourth ? Nay, just third. I guess. )

Walkthrough did not help. Grrr... PLEASE I NEED HELP I LOOKED EVERYWHERE ! WHERE IS THE DAMN MAP !
Lol. Now that I think of it, everything started from my desire to play the game "as it was designed to be played", therefore not using the shortcuts I've found during previous advenuring.
(SPOILER AHEAD)
Because it would heve certainly been fun to use a Reveal spell to open Tyball's back door in the first minute of level 7, but... no thanks.
(I don't see what good would this do to someone who does not know where the door is. Still....)
Ah and also I missed the Uus stone. The WkThorugh sais it's on the second lev (which I've suspected), and I'll go back and look, but... if someone would help me... plz ?

The Uus runestone is located with Ironwits Blueprints, the same room on level 2.
I dont know what map through the lava you speak of tho.

Oh and on a side note, I own the complete package Origin sells that includes a CD to which has both UW1 and 2 on it, both hint books, and instructions. Now then I have come to realize I LOST the cd and am dying to play UW2 again *since UW 1 just came out on the net and PCGamer* Can you or anyone help me in getting this wonderful game back since I doubt Origin would be willing to reimburst me for my own stupidity *even tho it'd cost about 5 cents hehe*

The map of the small lava pit just before the maze on L7; the map looks like a scroll and it has little x-s which are traps and little dots which are teleporters; supposedly, it should help you get past the lava pit (yeah, right, like you don't have the Ring of Levitation or you can't go through the "Evil Dead" area).
BTW, I'm just about to finish UW in two (game) days; I wonder if it can be finished in one day ?

Found the Uus stone, thanks. At this point it's quite useless, but it's nice to have them all (the stones).

I swear I read a note on playtesting UW, and it said they testers had a contest going: one of them finished in 45 minutes!
And you thought YOU knew the game well...

Namuk: LOL! - same thing happened to me! But in my case I thought I had pirated it years ago (shame), as I had UW1 on disk, and seem to remember buying the hint book in lieu of documentation. I really wanted to play it again, and was looking for it, figuring I would have to buy Interplays Ultimate RPG archive. Imagine my surprise and joy when I accidentally discover I have the EA Classic with both UW1 & UW2!!! I really gotta dig deeper in my basement to see what other gems are down there.

45 mins, wow. I'd have said it's quite impossible since Shak requires 1 hour to finish the Sword of Justice but...
