what good enchantments for a daedric dai katana are cheep/powerful?

ive been playin this game 4-5 days and i just got my mits on a daedric dai katana :DDDD kinda happy with it on my custom class Ninja :P, for the curious

major, enchant/l blade/l armour/sneak/security
minor, block/marksman/merchantile/speechcraft/conjuration

focus str/int, agil just as high, the lover, race dark elf tribal marking's

thiefs guild/morag tong

but im unsure what to enchant it with i can get 63-63 light or 83-83 cold i think i want elemental dmg on it for physical resitant type nasties but i aint too sure what the best thing to be enchanting it with, ive trapped like 40k-60k souls so i have plenty of juice for it and my enchant skillz nice so recharge is at a reasonable rate i use trash weapons for bootable rats ect, anyhow name a few types of spell that are the most useful enchants plz someone

another thing where can i buy grand soul gems if theres a vendor

and are daedric coins needed in the game y/n on that only plz

Daedric... coins? Are you by any chance meaning "dwemer" coins, instead? If so, nope, they're lightweight and thus are the only loot (besides gems) I take from Dwemer ruins.

the daedric coins i was on about are not daedric but they are found in a daedric ruin, u pull them out of a skull not a savents skull there not the same as the 300+ dwemer coins u find they are dwemer but there worth 125 gold not 50 gold like the rest and they dont stack together, ive added them to my found weird objects chest :P just wondering if there quest items

I've never heard of a daedric coin before...

If you've only been playing 4-5 days i expect you haven't reached a level where you encounter golden saints so i'd suggest putting of enchanting until you soul trap a golden saint (or A. Sleeper). The soul of a golden saint gives you a lot better charge it just seems a waist of a rare daedric dai katana to use a lesser soul.

If you have Block as a minor skill why are you using a double handed weapon? Seems a waste to me i think you should consider the one handed blade goldbrand (i've never searched it out but i think it is a katana) it has a max chop of 50 plus you can transform it later to eltonbrand which has a max damage (without taking it's enchantment into account) of 60 which is the same as the daedric dai katana!

thats all i ever take also lol........ that and any rare/valuable scrolls/armor/weapons that are useful.

autechre123: They're just coins that have a script applied to them (the one that makes them such a surprise to pick up), and as they're not identical to the rest of those coins they don't stack.

Red: Gah... I'd heard that Goldbrand could be turned to Eltonbrand, but geez, that's one heckuva tricky easter egg to try and trigger.

evanir: *grin* It's not like I actually need the cash, so I don't usually pick up scrolls/armor/weapons, I just have this compulsion around gemstones and dwemer coins... :p

To get Eltonbrand -

Step three, when you return to talk to her, make sure you have goldbrand in your inventory AND have EXACTLY 11171 gold. If you have more or less gold, it won't work.

After talking to her, she'll say "Excellent, blah blah, if you want more work I need some vampire dust...".... At this point the script starts. You should see the message popup "Go to Hell Carolina!" and your Goldbrand will be replaced with Eltonbrand.

I've never tried this out because i use double handed weapons but i do believe it should work... :sweat:

If anyone wants to know how to get goldbrand just ask and i'll tell you what i can.
