And let me clear something up, opium isnt to heroin, morphine is to heroin. And poppies are to morphine (all though they arent drugs). And cocaine is to crack, and moonsugar looks like crack....

Crack and moonsugar look alike.
Cocaine and Morphine and Moonsugar are alike in that Morphine is refined to make heroin and cocaine is cooked with other ingredients to make crack... and moonsugar is cooked with other ingredients AND refined to make skooma.
Skooma is liquid that resembles opium, skooma pipes look like opium pipes, skooma bottles look like opium type things..............
Skooma was said to be an unbreakable addiction as and crack was labled the unbreakable addiction.
Skooma and moonsugar ingame give you speedboosts, skooma much more boost at the expense of other skills. Very similar to crack and cocain.
Skooma can kill you, all of the above drugs can kill you.
I submit to you.. that skooma is a COMPOSITE DRUG!!!

Opium to heroine is the better analogy, as heroine contains many more opiates than just morphine. The book title is also a pretty convincing argument against the crack theory, however it still leaves the pipes to be explaned. Although heroine can be smoked it is not a common practice.

I don't think skooma/moonsugar refers to a specific drug, just hard drugs in general.
My favourite link between morrowind and real life was the book "The art of war magic" written in the same style as the art of war, that was great :cheeky:
