I freelance Web Developer / Digital Marketing Strategist working between several clients, while on the side also freelancing (read: doing unpaid work) as a cinematographer. About half of my time is spent researching and networking (read: raging at my clients trying to use me as free labor - I feel you there Renz). I think I'm honestly sick of both industries at this point and considering alternatives.
Oh and I worked two years as a game programmer in the past and now developing my own indie game - (
http://postmortemgame.com) Postmortem. On the formal side, I have a B.A. in Humanities and Masters in Comparative Ethnic Conflict. Don't ask, long story :P
Also, I really like riding my bicycle.

I'm a professional argumentor and challenger. I work in the moan trade and sometimes I'm a system critic and disruptor.
I dabble in web, app and general tech solutions for problems that don't need solving but just need adjusting a bit, and sometimes I anaesthetise people.
Mostly I drink tea and eat good food.

Problems invented by my clients is roughly half the work I do :p and the other half time they end up backpedaling and telling me to change it all back after I finished the task...

Got a BA in Communications in Mexico.
Worked for 2 1/2 years as a jack-of-all-trades manager in a chain of department stores called Coppel, not my style of gig, but it was something to do after university and getting some extra $.
Currently in Canada, just got accepted to study the Film Production major in SFU at Vancouver, so yay me!
Dunno what the Hell to do with my life still, derp!
:D

I'm work for a small company. I run the office side of one of the departments, and also am the only developer in the company, so I create the website and fix software bugs in the existing infrastructure. So I get to deal with angry customers, broken technology, and I also get to produce small items and package others.

Production database admin/engineer at a factory chain that produces security equipment for cars. The good thing about it is that I'm between people who do the manual labor and management, so I don't get any bad attention from any side because they're too busy watching each other, to put it crudely.
Used to work at a paper company... and be a code monkey for a while...

Singer/songwriter part-time entertainer. Retired in 1980 from the Sausalito Fire Department. I have prior to that, and after, owned and operated a restaurant, owned and operated a tow truck, was the baker and second cook at a resort hotel, debugged software for Broderbund, taught telemarketing, managed a coffeehouse and cafe, and a few more occupations that would take too long to list.
At the moment I am setting up a new residence in Oregon. Bought the place in May of 2012, moved in in November, did some repairs and am still unpacking and sorting. Single handed the most time consuming part is the "Where do I put this?" part of the operation.
