FWIW, I think Lord Dagoth's apperance looks kind of cool and (mildly) frightening. It was his voice that spoiled it for me. While he doesn't actually sound bad, per se, I found his voice to be completely inappropriate to his character. It would be far better suited to a brash and adventurous Imperial Knight than the Devil.

When I first heard Dagoth Ur's voice I thought it was an easter egg, it sounded so out of character.
Like some secret thing the dev's put in.
I know the voice of Diablo in d2 was Bill Roper's (big head in blizzard)
and with my second character I saw Dagoth Ur when I was level 2...
