I use it for schoolwork, games, web-browsing, music (though less browsing and more going to a plethora of different sites in my bookmarks)...that's pretty much it. When I got to college I hope to use it for DVD-viewing, but my few test runs with my 2005 FPW have shown that any time the camera makes a sudden move, it's blur-city. Plus, for bizzare reasons, The Royal Tenembaums is SUPER dark when played on a computer.

I only have a pentium 3 so my gaming is limited to fallout ,systemshock ,quake 3
About 50% games review videos (gamespot, youtube, gametrailers)
10% research into various things ,astrology, bible codes
10% emulation,nostalgia pursuits
30% devoted to my expansive library of toe job contraband( i was a child of the 80s)

I have three computers at home, a fairly decent PC that I use for games, development, especially for TTLG as it has a copy of the entire TTLG network running on it, and anything for TTLG where I have to use the server as I have a dual screen setup I can fire up the VPN on one screen and my own desktop on the other, which is very handy. Minor video editing, anything involving graphics for TTLG (which is pretty much just cutting up and resaving, thanks to GBM .) as I have all my web and graphics apps on it.
I have a Mac Mini which is now used as a basic fileserver as I have all but replaced it with my MacBook Pro which I use for day to day use as I have utterly fallen in love with the Apple way of doing things and the fact that everything just works. The only improvement would be AirTunes so I can stream my music to my decent semi-stereo speakers.
Yes, I am a MacFag :(. Oh wait, :D

I've got a Probot video on my computer. Does that count as porn?

Huh?

@ fett: It just reminded me of your long rant on Dan Brown and the Da Vinci Code. I've been pretty bored the past few days and my recent posts speak for themselves. Then again, my posts are far from constructive anyways.

Four more years...just four more years......
There are ways to thwart the adult units on this one.
My uses: gaming, Email/I.M, surfing, research/homework, music and where ever I can access to satisfy my boundless curiousity and that would be porn.
